Can Silvestre x AAR.T. STUDIO

We are delighted to offer a special residency package exclusively for the students of Angèlica Arvylàs’ AAR.T. STUDIO sculpture workshops. This collaboration is designed to make it easy for artists to focus fully on their sculpture practice, offering comfortable accommodation and nourishing meals in a tranquil, inspiring environment just 5 minutes from the studio.

  • Accommodation

    Residents are hosted in private bedrooms within our farmhouse. Bathrooms are shared with other residents and come equipped with fresh towels, bed linen, and basic toiletries. Artists are welcome to use our common spaces.

  • Meals & Kitchen

    Included in the price, we provide nourishing breakfasts and community dinners made with fresh ingredients from our garden and local farmers. Additional lunch meals are prepared to take along to the workshops, making it easy to stay focused on your practice.

  • Price

    The residency is offered at €67 per day, which includes accommodation and all meals. Please note that this price is listed without taxes. This special rate has been created exclusively for AAR.T. Studio students, allowing artists to fully focus on their practice without worrying about daily logistics.

  • Getting Here

    You can easily find us on Google Maps by searching “Can Silvestre, Riudarenes.” The last kilometer is a gravel road, accessible by any type of car. Keep an eye out for a wooden sign that says “Can Silvestre” hanging from a tree—that’s when you’ll know you’ve arrived.

  • Arrivals & Departures

    Room check-in is available between 4 PM and 9 PM, and check-out is before 10 AM.

    If you’re traveling by train or plane, we offer a shuttle service: €10 from Sils station, €20 from Girona airport, or €30 from Girona station.

  • Exploring

    We have bikes available for residents to use, which are very convenient for getting to and from AAR.T. Studio just 5 minutes away. They’re also perfect if you want to pop into the village or enjoy a leisurely ride through the countryside, offering a lovely way to explore the area.
